Stila Convertible Color- dual lip and cheek cream

Stila Covertible Lip Colors are a staple in my makeup collection, so I wanted to share them with you guys. I’m all for make up items with multiple uses and I have been known to find multiple ways to use products.

I am a sucker for cream blush so when i came across these beauty’s along with their adorable packaging I had no choice but to try them. This versatile compact is the key to a lighter makeup bag as it fits two purposes. By tapping onto the cheeks or pressing onto lips you can achieve the perfect buildable sheer tint for a healthy, fresh, radiant look. It’s also worth noting that these have also won the Best Cream Blush for In Style’s Best Beauty Buys for the past 7 years.

This collection consists of 9 dual lip and cheek creams. The task your left with now is deciding which ones you want. I finally dwindled it down to 5 although I would have happily  brought them all home.

The colors I finally picked were,

   Fuschia and Petunia

Lillium and Gerbera

The convertible colors are extremely pigmented which is great as it allows you the option to have them as sheer or opaque as you like.

From left to right – fuschia, petunia, lillium, gerbera and gladiola

They have a thick creamy texture that applies great to the cheeks and spreads smoothly. It’s easily blend able and sets quick enough. They last for about 8hrs which is great and the color gradually fades away naturally. This texture however does not translate so well to the lips.  I find the formula very drying on the lips.  I would recommend applying some lip balm before application it counteracts the dryness.

On a weekend away recently I forgot to pack eyeshadow ,but panic not it was Lillium to the rescue. With my finger I patted the teeniest amount onto both my lids ( i remember back in the day (not that long ago) we used to apply vaseline to our lids in school to give them a shine that makes you look more awake) On the lids it gave a lovely neutral toned sheen that looked great. I havent worn it since but hey it worked and diverted an imminent melt down before heading out (“,)

I would definitely recommend you take a look at these. They retail for £16/ €19 on the  although I paid €24 when I bought mine grrrr so their even more worth it now. Their cute, compact and come in a variety of colors to suit everyone’s skin tone. And if you’re adventurous they can be a convertible lip, cheek and eye trio (“,)

Thanks for stopping by (“,)
